Batteries supply direct current (DC) that flows in one direction. So do solar panels. The outlets in the walls of your home (or anywhere else) supply a wave of electricity - alternating current (AC). An inverter turns DC power into AC power.

They are international outlets. They work just like a regular outlet would.
Yes. When SolPad Mobile is used stand alone (not tied to the grid) you can use the SolPad app to change the output. Make sure to use a 220V appliance or device.
SolControl is a solar smart plug. It can request power from SolPad and help you offset your power usage. You can view real time power usage of anything you plug in through a SolControl. Automate your home by turning appliances on and off as you enter and leave. Prioritize which appliances and items throughout your home only get power from solar and not from the grid.
When a typical smart plug is OFF, you must use its app or physically access a button to turn on the device that’s plugged into it. When the paired phone is not available and the smart plug is connected to an out-of-reach wall outlet (behind a couch), you have a problem. SolControl solves this. Just toggle the power switch of certain appliances. SolControl will sense this and energize the outlet!
